Covid-19 has taken an enormous toll on our health care system including causing a pause in Mesothelioma research. There is now an urgent need to raise funds to sustain Dr. Marc de Perrot and his team’s program, including their revolutionary work with S.M.A.R.T. and S.M.A.R.T.E.R.
The Master Insulators’ Association of Ontario (MIAO) has recently announced that their annual Charity Golf Classic has been cancelled. As the fees and sponsorships collected as part of this tournament supports the Princess Margaret Research Fund, MIAO is asking:
- Those who normally play in the tournament to please consider donating your golf registration fees to the Research Fund.
- Those who normally support the tournament with a donation to the Research Fund, to do so again this year.
- Those who are outside of Ontario, but would like to support this research, make a donation to the Research Fund.
Please download and complete the donation form (below) and forward it to Charlie Stuckey (charlie.stuckey@miaontario.org) at the MIAO Office at your earliest convenience.
PLEASE NOTE:Because of the MIAO’s Trust Agreement with the Princess Margaret Research Fund, 100% of all donations made through the MIAO go directly to Mesothelioma research.
