K-Flex USA, a manufacturer of elastomeric insulation, has expanded insulation options for customers with the addition of two-inch thick NBR, 25/50-rated tubing and sheets to its product line. This announcement demonstrates K-Flex USA’s commitment to provide customers with more efficient products to meet the energy requirements of changing building codes and demanding insulation applications.

Since 2007, K-Flex USA has provided one-and-a-half-inch thick NBR tubing and sheet products that are durable and easy to install. The two-inch thick NBR, 25/50-rated products, tested to ASTM E-84 standards for surface burning characteristics of building materials, offer the same physical characteristics that create high-performance systems.

The addition of these thicker products keeps K-Flex USA in the forefront of energy-efficient products. Available in six-foot long tubes ranging from 5/8” ID to 6” IPS, standard 3’ x 4’ sheets and 4’ x 15’ rolls, applications include R-8 duct wrap and liner, secondary loop cooling systems for supermarkets, as well as other applications where high humidity or energy efficiency demand thicker insulation.
