The forecast for the commercial construction industry looks promising as we move into a brand new year. While many experts forecast an uncertain year ahead for the construction industry, in 2012 the ICI sector could reach the pre-recession building levels of activity topped in 2008, according to the Construction Sector Council (CSC).
On behalf of the Thermal Insulation Association of Canada, Consultant Steve Clayman presented a session at Construct Canada in Toronto last December on the merits of mechanical insulation in an energy-conservation world. Here is a closer look at what was discussed.
The Master Insulators' Association of Ontario (MIA Ontario) is the largest of the mechanical insulation provincial associations in Canada with approximately 110 Active Members and 30 Associate Members made up of manufacturers and distributors. Each year, the MIA Ontario organizes four main events and contribute bursaries and research dollars to various initiatives.
