Venture Tape Corp., a subsidiary of 3M, announced that it has named The Jack Armstrong Group of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada as its manufacturer’s representative for the company’s line of Compac® pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tapes and Ultra-Guard® line of insulation jacketing products. Venture Tape acquired the Compac PSA tape product line from Lamtec Corporation in February, 2009.

Compac PSA tape products are used in the insulation, industrial, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), markets. Venture Tape manufactures a broad range of tapes used in the construction, oil and gas, HVAC, electronics, aerospace, marine, and appliance markets. It also provides specialty industrial tapes complementary to 3M’s specialty tape product line used in splicing, automotive and automotive aftermarket applications.

A recognized leader in adhesive product sales, The Jack Armstrong Group has a strong track record in the insulation market dating to 1975. “We look forward to parlaying our strengths and experience in the industry on behalf of Venture Tape,” says Armstrong principal Jack Armstrong.  “And we are very pleased to be handling sales of this fine product line for insulation applications.”
