As TIAC’s president, I am delighted to encourage you to attend our 2024 Annual Conference and General Meeting, taking place in the picturesque city of St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, from August 21-24. This year’s event promises to be a remarkable gathering of industry professionals, filled with opportunities to learn, connect, and celebrate our collective achievements. If you are reading this for the first time at the conference, welcome! I encourage you to enjoy the excellent networking and educational opportunities this event offers and to explore the beauty and uniqueness of St. John’s while at the conference.

Celebrating Our Industry’s Impact and Expressing Gratitude

First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the unwavering support and dedication each of you has shown to our industry. Your commitment to excellence and innovation in mechanical insulation has been instrumental in driving our mission forward. Together, we have made significant strides in promoting energy efficiency, sustainability, and the vital role of mechanical insulation in reducing carbon emissions. Attending the conference will help to make our industry much better and give you an opportunity to grow within the industry. 

The theme for this year, “Illuminating EfficienSee: Forging a Sustainable Future with Mechanical Insulation,” underscores our collective efforts in leading the way toward a greener future. This year’s conference is a celebration of our achievements and a platform to share the latest advancements, best practices, and innovative solutions that are shaping our industry.

Exploring St. John’s 

St. John’s, with its stunning landscapes and rich history, offers a unique experience for all attendees. Optional excursions include tours of Cape Spear, the most easterly point in North America, and boat trips to the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve to see puffins, murres, and whales.

Networking Opportunities

President’s Ball

We understand that not everyone may be able to attend this year’s conference.
